ear infections, croup, URI

oh this past week has been rough around here!!! Both babies have been so sick!! they were a little better yesterday but now Addison's cough sounds more junky than the barky croupy cough she has had - I
may need to take her back to the dr. - she is on Omnicef and Prednisone. when my boys were little and had the croup - it was worse at night Addison has been worse during the day -and I never remember a croupy cough turning into a junky bronchitis sounding cough does anyone have experience with croup?

No experience with the croup, but we have ear infections, diarrhea, and boogies galore right now! (omincef is our friend, too!) I hope your little ones feel better soon!!! Hang in there and take care of yourself!!

Aye, me oldest lad had Croup. I had to take him in the bathroom and turn on a hot shower so he could breathe th' steam. It helped him immensely. I hope your little ones get well smart-like and are ship-shape and ready t' sail soon enough!

No advice (so far we've only dealt with colds, fever with a rash, and an ear infection), but I wanted to send you and your little ladies some :hug99: :hug99: :hug99:

Heather, croup is a barky cough, almost always worse at night. I don't remember though if it turns into a junky one as they start getting better or not...I am thinking not. Poor punkins. I hope they feel better soon. :hug99:

 

thank you all!! today has been better! her cough is still junky sounding but not as often - they are both super clingy now - but I think they at least feel a little better!
