My DD's new thing is to say that everything "hurts" so I'll kiss it and make it better. So now I'm left to guess what really hurts them and what doesn't. Example, DD2 is becoming aware of her poopoo/peepee in the diaper so a lot of times when she's 'gone' she'll say 'poopoo hurt'. But I don't know if she's just telling me she went pee/poo or if something down there hurts...like a UTI?! Then this morning she told me her ear hurt...but it was right after she told me her toe hurt.  She's had a runny nose for a couple of days but that's it. Neither one has ever had an ear infection either.

So, anyone have experience with UTI or yeast infection? Are their other symptoms? What about ears? Should we take a trip to the pedi? I was thinking her runny nose was just allergies b/c she really has no other symptoms other than sneezing. :umm:

:hug99: Your poor hurts all over little pumpkin! Actually, she probably really is just getting into you reacting to her and giving her all that good, yummy attention (which is a good thing)! So, unless she's incredibly crabby or has a fever or the nose is thick and gooey, I'd probably hold out. Man, where's that manual?

I agree with Heather! If she starts getting up at night saying 'ear hurts', I would definitely take her in. As far as the poopoo/peepee hurting, I would venture to guess she is just realizing the sensation as she does it. I would wait.

Thanks Becky and Heather! She seems totally fine otherwise. I'll wait and see what hurts next when she wakes up from nap. ;)

I totally sympathize Lou. Tess is my drama queen & it is so hard to know for sure what's actually a problem & what isn't. I usually just watched for a fever or if she complained about the same thing hurting over & over for a couple of days. Now that she's older it's a little easier but sometimes I still have trouble figuring her out. Maybe it will just be a phase with your girls & they will outgrow it. :hug99:

"Owie" is Beth's favorite word right now for the same reason. So, I agree with the others about her wanting the attention.

If you think she might really have issues with girl parts, our pedi, says you can put baking soda in their bath and that will help out, and maybe avoid a trip into the office - don't know why it works, but they say to try it.

I agree with the others. She likes your attention and that is her new word. I would hold off on the ped visit unless there are other symptoms.

I agree with Heather. Sounds kinda like Pat. Everything hurts him more than everyone else!
