Hi, we are considering taking our 4.5 yo twins and 2 yo to Dutch Wonderland in PA. Two questions for anyone who has been...

Will my 2 yo be able to do anything there?

Can anyone recommend a place to stay? I was hoping to find a hotel that had suites, ie 1-2 bedrooms with a small kitchen area.

    Thanks!!

    Amy

We went last year after sesame place. We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast on a working dairy farm, the next day we went to Hershey park. My girls had a better time at Hershey park.

We went last year, we live close enough so we don't have to stay overnight. It was OK, it was the day before the girls' birthday, so they were still 2. I think 2 yr olds would enjoy it. Try to go during the week so it's not too busy. I think that was the only thing we did wrong, it got crowded, and Bea started to get a little scared at the water park area. She probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't crowded. There are plenty of little rides that are fine for small ones. It's kind of cheesy, but they had fun.

I live 30 mins from Dutch Wonderland and 15 mins from Hershey Park. Dutch Wonderland is okay, small time amusement park, some great rides for the little ones. Its right near a lot of the Amish community if you wanted to see that too.
Hershey Park on the other hand, is great for all ages. They have a brand new water park this year with a lazy river and all. Really the most for your money and plenty to do for the little ones. Chocolate World is attached pretty much to the park and fun for the kids as well. I think they are running some promotion called familystimulus package or something. I would check it out!
