Duking it out in the SBS....

Using the SBS has become virtually impossible if I am anywhere that I might have to stop pushing the stroller for *gasp* 10 seconds or more.

They pull hair, hit each other on the head, steal pacifiers (yes, I still let them have pacifiers when they are "locked down" in a stroller! ), poke eyes, pull on ears, etc. :catfight: It is SO annoying. The SBS is so much lighter and easier to load and unload, navigate through the store, etc. but it is proving to be too much of a hassle lately.

Will this phase stop? Or am I doomed to load and unload my heavy (but nice) Graco Quattro for every trip inside the Post Office, Pedi's office, etc.?

Maybe it's the SBS you're using?

I wish I had some advice for you. We use our tandem much more than our SBS, but that is because our SBS is new and a jogger. My girls haven't figured out they can duke it out in there yet. Maybe give them special stroller toys to distract them from each other? GL!

It's hit or miss with us. Lately they have been very good in the sbs. About a month ago I went back to the duoglider because we were having issues.

If we go out in the morning and they are fighting, I'll switch to the other one in the afternoon.

The only time I really have issues is if I give them something to eat or drink. Jake wants all of the snack and both sippies.

Honestly, that phase started for us around 8 months old and never stopped. We have a BOB SBS now (which I love) but it keeps them much more separate than the Combi we used to have. Their behavior in it was a big reason that I hated the Combi.

Once again, glad to know I'm not the only one whose SBS has turned into a boxing ring! I'm hoping they'll move past this phase, the SBS is so much easier to load and unload!

I never had big fighting issues in our SBS. Only an occasional spat. Our biggest problem was wen they learned to get out. They did not want to sit anymore which is why at 3 years old we rarely use the stroller anymore for short walks or appts.
