DS Circumcision

I took the boys to the health department for their 6 month check up. (We are in transition and currently do not have health insurance. So the HD does them for free - yay!)
Well, I have been concerned about J circumcision. Every so often (Not just when he is cold) his penis will disappear and the skin with cover it. I will put the skin back to get it to come out, and it looks as if the skin is wanting to adhere back. After several days of messing with it trying to keep it pulled back, it started to get red - so I figured it was time to just have a doctor look at it.

Well, we went to the health department and we were treated very kindly. (SIDE NOTE: Doesn't it seem that the rudest people can be so nice to you because you have twins!? Or people that are having bad days just get in better moods when they see your babies - and it's because there are two of them!)

After TWO Hours we were finally seen by the doctor, who was a "seventy-ish" old man from the Philippines. I could barely understand him. As he inspected his diaper he quickly closed it back and said everything looked fine. Well, I told him that I was concerned about it and proceeded to tell him why. This is how the conversation went:

Me: I am concerned about his circumcision - Sometimes it...
DR in a filipino accent: Oh no - it looks perfect - done oh so nice!

Me: Well, I am sure it was done fine, however at times the skin covers his....
Dr: Oh no - he has perfect amount of skin. When he is older he will have much bigger erections.

Me: [Red in the face and wondering why he would think that I would be concerned with my SIX MONTH old's future erections] Well, I am not concerned about that, I think the skin is trying to grow back.

Dr: [turns to my HUSBAND] I don't think she understand what I am saying. Let me put it this way: I would rather have a long penis then a short penis, wouldn't you?
My Husband: oh yea!
Dr: Medically speaking
My Husband: Medically speaking or not!

ME: [Completely embarrassed] ok.. on to the next baby!

btw, I never got my concern addressed - So I guess I will just wait until we move and I find a pediatrician.
