We were sitting on the couch this morning and I had my knees bent with my feet on the coffee table and DS was laying on my knees facing me. DD was on her boppy next to us (this is how I feed them). I picked DD up and had her facing DS. I have noticed recently that DS is really interested in his sister and stares at her and acts as if he wants to reach out and touch her. They looked at eachother for awhile and DS got visibly excited...kicking and reaching and smiling. DD was not quite as interested but she was checking him out for sure. At any rate, all of sudden one of her flailing arms reached out and grabbed her brother's hand. They actually intertwined fingers and held them like that for about 30 seconds. It was amazing. I am sure it was a mistake but it certianly brought tears to my eyes. Oh yeah, they are 11 weeks on Tuesday (I think...I may have lost track :))

My twins are almost 5 months and they hold hands all the time. Plus they suck on each others arms (or pull hair) if close enough. It does melt your heart to watch twins interact! I can't wait to watch them as they get older.
