dry cleaned clothes

My mom got ds a suit to wear for my sister's wedding but it is dry clean only as I imagine most suits would be. I am just wondering if that is ok to do for babies. Also will it be clean enough as if I washed it?

Maybe check with the dry cleaner? But unless he's got really sensitive skin, I would think it'd be fine. I'd just make sure it was aired out ahead of time.

Also, depending on the fabric, it could be ruined if you wash it instead of dry cleaning it.

We have a few dry cleaners near us that use organic cleaning solutions. I'd be more confident with that (my Evan has eczema).

 

I second the airing out part before you put it on him....just take it out of the plastic when you get it home!

We had our guys baptism outfits drycleaned before the ceremony. By the end of the ceremony, both of them had broken out. I would check with the drycleaner first about organic

 

If he's just going to wear it once, I'd say it's fine, unless you already know that he has sensitive skin. Do make sure to air it out well before you put it on him. And it would be a bonus to find a dry cleaner who uses organic solutions.
