Dropping

New here... just found the site.

Just wondering when most of you dropped with your twins.... I was carrying so high and now my stomach is very low... I am 30wks 3days.

People keep saying that I look like they have dropped but I can't tell much difference!!
both of my girls are heads up so I don't know!!!

 

I dropped more and more every day from about 31 wks on. This was my second pregnancy and I was already carrying really low to start. I had a really big "drop" at 37 weeks and that was really painful. I ended up being induced and delivering at 38w5d. I do remember getting a lot of "you have dropped" comments from all the nurses in my office around 35 weeks, but once I hit that 36 or 37 week mark there was no doubt about it!

 

I was just asking this question with friend and they say who knows with twins. This is my 2nd pg, so everyone says they always heard that it doesn't happen until right before delivery.

I just "dropped" sometime in the last week, my belly button is no longer in the same place. It looks like I'm around a week different from you...so maybe this is the norm with twins.

 

I would have to say that I "dropped" between 36 and 37 weeks. Before that, I thought it was hard to get around then after the babies moved down I was very uncomfortable and fairly house ridden.

The boys were induced at 38w2d.

 

People started telling me that I'd dropped around 30 weeks. I didn't believe the first person, but after about the 5th or 6th I decided they were probably right.

 

My belly dropped at around 31 weeks. My boys have both been head down since 24 weeks, but one of them moved even lower (his head rests between my pelvic bone and my tail bone). It is so much harder to get around now. Getting in and out of bed is almost impossible without my Hubby's help.

 

I asked my doctor at my check-up and he was laughing, told me they had nowhere else to go.
