Both of my girls drool, but Dani is an excessive drooler--has been since birth. When she started getting her first tooth, it didn't increase or decrease. It's so bad she has to wear a bib nearly all the time she's awake or her clothes will be soaked. When will this stop?!
I just stopped having to put bibs on my girls a couple of weeks ago, so at about 8.5 months. Before then I was changing their bibs several times a day as they were SOAKED after an hour or so. They got their first teeth at 7 months so the drool stopped a month or so after the teeth were all the way through. Hopefully yours will let up soon too! I know it's silly but I hate how the bibs ruin the look of their cute outfits
I hope the drool decreases for you. Ethan is a major drooler, he always has been. On a normal day we get through 2 or 3 bibs, on a extra heavy dribbling-ie teething-day we can easily get through 4 or 5. In both cases that's with swapping them round throughout the day so they can dry out. We kept thinking that it would stop when his teeth came in but no such luck so far (although his bottom two canines are not all the way in yet so I guess there's still hope...) His parents actually took him to the doctor because they thought maybe he had something going on that was causing it but he checked out fine. The having to put bibs over cute outfits bothers me too. I try and coordinate the bib to the outfit and use the nicer ones for going out and just use the older/stained/un-matching ones at home.
