am i the only one who has a daily fight to get the kids dressed? I get kicked, hear 'no!' all the time.

I'm seriously losing it, it's so frustrating. It's bad enough Jake went through 8 diapers yesterday (like a newborn) because everytime he pees he takes it off.
At least when he was a newborn he couldn't go anywhere.

Becca just kicks me and thinks it funny when i say "ow!"

    ugh!

Sorry I cant offer any real advice, but I can relate.
My 2 yr old son doesnt want to take of his 'pajama' shirt in the morning to get dressed. It's not like its a special shirt with sponge bob or anything on it... usually just a white tshirt. He will let me change him and put his bottoms on just fine, but when I try to take his shirt off, he will put his arms down with his elbows on his sides to make it difficult for me to take his arms out of the shirt. I've been resorting to showing him something on the shirt he will wear that day that might distract him from whatever reason he doesnt want to change. i.e. spiderman, lizard, etc. Sometimes he still doesnt want to change his shirt, but he never hits or kicks me. Oddly enough, once the new shirt is on, he's fine and doesnt pay any attention to the shirt we took off. He just goes on to the next thing in our morning routine.

how do yours act after you've managed to get them dressed?

One of mine does this - she still hates getting dressed and often refuses to put shirts on. She is usually okay with pants though. Usually I get a shirt on her by distracting her with Barney. Cheap, I know, but when she's staring at him she doesn't care if I put a shirt on her. :D

    Good luck!

UPDATE: As soon as I had posted this, she took off her shirt, lol

I have mine help me. THey used to fight alot and it was a wresting match. But after a couple of weeks of having them show me where they body part is and put it where it goes. It defiatly helps. I amsure it will wear off but now it is going well.

i love that i'm not alone!

They are fine once they are dressed...and it's really more my DD than DS. I sometimes let my daughter pick b/t a few items, that seems to help.
