Dreams

DH and I both had dreams last night about the baby. Granted, they were not the same dream, but we both dreamt a girl, and she was named the same name in both of our dreams. So, that made it easy, if we have a girl, her name is ready. Funny how those things work, Im curious to know now what we are having.

hopefully we will find out next week at the Level II.

Wow! I wish I could have name dreams. All I seem to get are nightmares and dreams about death.

 

well that helped make it easier!! Keeping my fingers crossed you get too see your baby.

 

we are having an integrated screening & level II (to avoid doing an amnio right now) next week, i will be almost 14 weeks. Surely (i really hope) that sometime during the 3 hours you would think we could see boy parts or girl parts with the high powered u/s. Im keeping my fingers crossed. I am already on modified bedrest (only allowed to go to work and sit - i had to promise) and them home, and with a cerclage at 16 weeks, it sure would be nice to know so I can be doing a little bit at a time.

 

That's so amazing that you both dreamed and came up with the same name. I never remember my dreams. Good luck with the u/s.

 

Wow, that is a neat story. If you do have a girl, what a story to tell about how she got her name. Hopefullly you will find out soon.

 

Wow that is so nice! Can't wait to find out what you're having. My cerclage is going to be in less than two weeks (I'm so nervous), my Dr. decided she wants it in at 12 weeks and then weekly u/s starting at 16 weeks. I hope we'll get a glimpse on one of those u/s.

 

according to everything I have read, the sex organs are fully developed at 11 weeks, but most u/s are not strong enough to see until 16-20 which is why they always make you wait, however, you and I are in the same shoes, and Im really hoping that at my peri appt next week for my Level II and integrated screen they will be able to see. but if they dont, I am also having weekly u/s for cervix checks. cant wait to know.
