Im just trying to see what everyone else does on this topic.......dreamfeeding. 1. What time do you dreamfeed and why that time? 2. what time do they eat before that? 3. What time do they sleep till/ Thanks!!!
we have dream fed since they were 4 months of age. It was always before WE went to bed, even if that was two hours after they went to bed. Some nights they drink more than other times, but since they are lower weight we have kept it up.. (they are 15 months now)
We dreamfed from 3-7 months. We gave the last bottle at 6pm and dreamfed at 10:30-11pm. They would then sleep until 6-7am. HTH .
Our twins are about 6 months old. We dreamfeed our DS before we go to bed. He is asleep around 8. He usually wakes up and cries before we are in bed (10 or 10:30). When he cries, we feed him a 4 oz. bottle. He will sleep until 4-5 am and then go back to bed until 7 or so. Our DD doesn't need a dreamfeed. She will sleep through until 7, or sometimes wake up around 4 or so for a bottle (then back to sleep until 7). Beth
A nighttime feeding usually a few hours after the babies go to bed. You get them up to feed, most of the time they wont wake up. They eat while they are sleeping...hence - dreamfeed. This is to get one more meal in them in hopes they dont wake in the middle of the night. It works for mine.
