dr appt update

so i had my every 2 week checkup. same old same old he reassured me about the contractions and cramping. i keep getting really strong contractions every 5 min apart, sometimes less, and i'll have about 5-10 of them, and then they kinda taper off and go away. and im having CONSTANT period type cramps. he said if they taper off, to continue doing what im doing that makes them taper off. water, pee, lie down, and to call if they dont taper off after doing all those things for an hour. im measuring 37 weeks. lol and then he said, youre almost as big as a full term pregnant lady. and i go, is that why i feel like im going to explode?? and he says, if it makes you feel any better ive never seen anyone explode. haha and then the nurse says, those babies are just growing! lol and i go, or its the extra piece of cake and icecream i keep eating big ol fattttty! oh well right? ummm i go monday for a cervix length check and a size/date check. then the monday after that i go for my checkup with him. then he said somethign about weekly NST and monthly size/date checks, but i dont remember when that starts. all in all it was a decent appointment. hes such a sweet doc, im hoping to get him (dr. Z) to do the c-section. the other doc (dr. N) is nice too, but he moves so fast. hes very efficient and never makes me feel rushed. but dr. Z is older and moves slow and when he comes into the room he sits down and leans back like he's got all the time in the world for you. lol and hes soft spoken and i just like him more i wanted to ask if we could schedule the c-section yet, but im pretty sure he woulda said not yet, so i didnt ask lol. well thats it!! thanks for listening to me ramble!

 

So glad that everything is going good so far. almost 30 weeks.. wow.. does it feel like that time is going quickly or is it puttering by? I hope that the new OB I am seeing is as nice as yours sounds.

Just keep going mama.. have I mentioned that I kind of follow you to know what to expect in the weeks to come.. mmmmmmm. . icecream.. its been yummy to me also.

 

lol 30 weeks seems to have gone SOOO SLOW! especially after the hospital visit at 24wks i was sooo scared of them coming too soon. i hope your new doc is nice. i didnt know you were following me lol. if theres anything i can do let me know im a first timer so i have nothing to compare to.

 

Funny you mention the "exploding" because the past few nights I've had dreams that my stomach was going to explode and rip open and I need to get to the hospital. . . lol! You sound like you're doing great, and you are getting so close!
