So, I LOVE my skip hop duo double, but I've been wanting something a bit smaller for quick outings. I've been looking at the Skip Hop Dash, but saw some negative reviews on it. Anyways, just wondering if you have a smaller diaper bag you love for those quick trips. I'm looking for something that will hold 2 sippy cups (preferably on the outside) and then of course diapers and wipes compartments. Thanks!!!

I down sized to a Fleurville that I got on CL. I have liked it but now find I really prefer a backpack. Now that they are walking I really need hands free and it just seems more out of the way. I am now on the look out for more of a diaper bag, backpack as we have just been using one we had laying around the house and it doesnt have the right pockets.

I've been using the free diaper bag (it's smaller then our skip hop one) that the hospital gave us when the kids were born.

I love the free diaper bags the hospital gave us when our kids were born. They are very nice and a perfect size for quicker outings.

I just purchase a very large GUESS bag and used that as my diaper bag. That is for 3 kids. My kids are up to milk now so I just buy the long-life milk and have a spare sippy cup in there (empty) any bottles just go in the basket of my stroller if they have milk in them. I never store any used diapers in my bag. It is nice not looking like a complete mom sometimes..... cost me the same as a diaper bag.

I just use a backpack normally, but sometimes I use a small cheapie that I got from BRU. I think it's Eddie Bauer? I know I didn't spend more than $15 on it.

I have a Vera Bradley Tote that use for a diaper bag. I've never used anything larger. I keep diapers, wipes, clothes, and snacks in there. It can fit two milk sippies if we need those also.

At first I thought the skip hop duo double was great but after the second visit to the doctor in a week with two sick babies and the huge diaper bag in tow…. I ditched it. We do use it for road trips and it was great when we went on vacation. I keep it in the car stocked with extras. But otherwise we use a backpack that isn’t even a diaper bag. It’s a “daypack” from backwoods that I got for free. I'd buy it though.

Love the backpack. Leaves both arms free and my husband will carry it as well.

I keep diapers and wipes in the back of my 4runner. There are extra compartments for "tools" (diapers and wipes are MY tools, right?!). I may use a bigger purse if I need to carry sippies and a snack. But usually, I don't carry it with me- I leave it in the car covered and take the important items like DL and credit card and coupons and stick them in my pockets. I have never done well keeping extra of anything and if something were to happen like a blow out, then having them ride in just a new clean diaper instead of changing them into new clothes for the 20-30 mins in the car on are way home isn't a big deal to me. Besides, the less I have to worry about loosing the better!

Love my Skip Hop Spark I found it at target on clearance for $12 or so. Perfect size for two sippies on the outside, diapers, wipes, extra wipes, a couple of toys, my stuff...and still enough room to stuff shoes or anything extra in it. Hangs on my stroller with the shoulder strap or includes stroller straps with it.

I also have a regular backpack I use sometimes too, it works great as well.
