Thank you ladies!!!

We have celebrated their first birthday last Sunday, since we have movers coming this Thursday and Friday to move us back to Europe, so things are very very hectic!

The first year has gone quickly ... and overall, I think things went pretty smooth. A few minor bumps (Felix' reflux, surgery for Maxine) but all in all, they're pretty easy babies. They nap well, eat well, and sleep fairly well (besides the early wake up time). They're growing like weeds (I expect Maxine to be 23-24 lbs and Felix 26-27 lbs; we're going in this morning)! A lot of things are a challenge, but I've been lucky with the help I got, night help, nanny for the twins, my oldest in school so even though our family is over 4000 miles away, things haven't been too bad. We've enjoyed the park, friends, Gymboree, and I think we've managed to take them places and get them out of the house as much as I could. They've been to Jamaica, Europe, Denver, South Carolina and on Sunday we're leaving for a 3 week road trip from Chicago to New Orleans before flying back to Europe on December 21st. Things are a hassle sometimes, but I feel you have to do what you have to do sometimes. And in worked out. We'll miss the States. We left with no children and less than 4 years later we're returning with 3 ... a number I could have never imagined but still, I wouldn't miss them for the world, obviously!

I'll post their stats later ... I am very curious myself! My oldest was 25lbs at 1 year (95%), Maxine was 1/2 lbs behind at 9 months and Felix 1 lbs ahead ...

Thanks so much for everything ... and even though I'll be in Europe soon, luckily internet has no borders!
