Double Suprise

When I was 12 years old, a school mate of mine moved left my school/church and moved out of Province and I never saw or heard from her again. When we recently moved to the same province I knew she had moved to, I did a search on Reunion.com and found she had registered and her married name was listed. That was last year. Just last week, I decided to Google her name and see what I came up with.
I found her.
I found her profile listed on a Cancer-related website.
When I looked at her picture I also saw she has twin boys.
Her profile told her story about how she found out she had cancer in both overies just 2 days after giving birth. It had spread much further and she is on chemo right now.
She suffered alot during her pregnancy, which sounded like my experience with Hyperemisis.
I have contacted her and I plan on keeping in contact with her. Her boys are 16 months old now - I can't imagine how hard this must be on her, but she is fighting this cancer and believes in God's Healing.
Maybe we will be able to get together - she lives about 2 hours from me.
I was just so shocked to find out all this about her in one shot....it makes my heart ache!

 

Wow! What a story! I hope the two of you are able to get in contact with each other...and catch up on old times!

 

How bitter sweet. I am so glad she has you as a friend. I will say some prayers for her.

 

what an ordeal...Maybe you will be able to get in touch with her. It would be nice to have a friend while going through all of that.
