I spent so much time thinking about this one- I went back and forth b/c I couldn't decide if I wanted tandem or SBS. Finally I got the double snap and go for when they are infants. You just take the infant car seats out and put them in there. Its tandem, has a huge basket underneath and steers great b/c it is so light. When they outgrow that (they aren't born yet) I have the combi SBS. I didn't like the tandem strollers, they're not as easy to push and I feel like I'm driving a bus. Plus I like that they are side by side so they both can see whats going on. It doesn't have as big of basket as tandems do but I just bought attachments for the back of it. For outside I got the expedition double stroller.

Good luck with your search- try not to let it drive you crazy!

i think it could very well drive you crazy!! LOL

i have found that most on here have more than 1 stroller. i thought i wouldn't but i too have fallen into that category, and i have to say i love both my graco duoglider and my peg perego aria twin, though for different reasons. the duoglider is heavy and bulky, and the seats don't recline well, but it turns on a dime, fits through narrow spots, and can be "driven" with one hand (while pulling a shopping cart behind you, for example). the aria is lightweight and fits well in our car when we travel with tons of stuff, the kids don't kick each other, but the canopies aren't too big and it's harder to maneuver. both, however have a good size basket underneath to stow stuff.

you will find most strollers have pros and cons, you just have to see which best suit your lifestyle

I have the Kolcraft tandem. I love it. Whye? 1-can fit carseats, newborn, up to 40 lbs 2-pushes easily 3-turns easily 4- can turn seats to go forward or backward 5-HUGE basket, I can put $100 of groceries in the basket and don't have to take a cart. Here is a linkto see it

I have the snap n go for now, and the maclaren twin techno for later. I love it! It's light and fits in my trunk. It steers very well- the best of all the ones I tried.

I have the Graco Duoglider too. It was great with the carseats & seems ok for now, too. The boys do kick each other & the seats don't recline well, but mine don't really nap in the stroller now anyways. It steers GREAT, I can handle it 1 handed, & it holds a ton of stuff in the basket (great for shopping). The boys seem to like it, except the one in the back can't see as well. I also have the Peg Perego Aria Twin. I've tried using it shopping & HATE it. It doesn't steer well, the basket barely holds anything, & it doesn't fit in narrow spots. We love it for outside on walks & trips to the zoo, though! The only complaint is that the boys are too close to each other & rarely leave each other alone. They steal food off each other's trays too ;)!

I also said I'd never own more than 1 stroller, but I do ;). People complain on the bulkiness & weight of the Duoglider, but it doesn't bother me (I always have my 3rd row seats down, so there's plenty of room). I actually find it easier to fold than the Aria.

Best of luck with your decision. As someone said, it can make you crazy!!!!!

I'm so glad you asked this question. I'm looking for a second double stroller. Right now I have the graco double duo stroller and I have no problem with it at all except for some of the complants others have made like the kicking!! It's great for shopping and things like that, but I don't like that the one in the back can't see anything. We just went to the zoo and I felt bad for Lucas who was in the back and couldn't see anything all day.
However.....my DH is completly confused by this. <_< He doesn't understand why in the world we need 2 strollers. Well actually it is more then that b/c we also have 2 umbrella strollers. So anyway...I need a cheap one!

I second all of this-- LOVE my Kolcraft Contours tandem stroller!! The only drawback is that it's kind of heavy... but otherwise, it's awesome!!!!!

we loved our snap-n-go and got so much use out of it. You can almost always find them used.

I also have the Mclearn Twin Techno, which the kids hate. It's very portable and easy to fold and light. But the baskets are small, there is no 'bar' or 'snack tray' which the kids like to hang onto. Also, there isn't much room in their seat for them to hold stuff. It does handle well, but you need both hands. Our other stroller, the Graco duorider (their SBS) is cheap - but i think the kids like the seats because they are roomy, it's really one seat...it has a huge basket underneath and it's easier to push than the Mclearan.

Someone just gave us a Combi Twin Savvy..I haven't done a test drive, but it seems like it might steer better than the Graco.

My recommendation is get a snap-n-go and then when the babies are ready for the next one, do a test drive.

  9. Started off with the Double Decker Stroller, was fantastic for infants carseats. People couldn't believe how slim it was.
    We went everywhere, snow, beach...

Mountain Buggy Urban is our walking stroller day to day. Big, heavy and expensive. Love the ride, but hate hauling it in and out of the truck.
    Kids adore it.

Jeep SBS stroller. Used for mall, in and out quick. Grandma, our daycare, requested a small option for her little car.

Good luck. I wish we could rent this stuff.

We have the Graco Quatro Tour Duo tandem, and I love it. It maneuvers well, opens and folds with one hand. It is heavy and bulky, but that doesn't really bother me. I have two babies - life is heavy and bulky! :)

For a SBS, we are getting the Zooper Tango. I did a lot of research, and I really like this stroller for the price (I like the Mountain Buggys, but they are almost twice the price of the Zooper). Plus it comes with sun shade, rain shade, and boot, instead of being pricey extras. The downside is that it is still relatively new and so there aren't a lot of reviews and real life info.

  12. Thank you to all who have responded. I forgot to mention I do have the double snap n go for the infant seats right now and I love it. I was trying to do further research on a stroller for when they outgrow their seats. You have all really helped me out. :D :D

I have a Schwinn Free Wheeler Double Jogging Stroller. I chose this over the others because it is light weight and fits in the back of my mini van. The front wheel swivels so it's easy to manuever or it can lock for jogging. And I wanted something that would work well on grass, dirt, sidewalks etc... It's very easy to push with one hand and fits through most commercial doors.

This stroller costs a bit more. The advantages are that you can buy inserts that makes it go from infant up to 4 years of age. When you have two crazy toddlers it would be helpful. I live in Australia and many places are NOT wheelchair accessible so it doesn't fit the same. You can really easily change it from a stroller to a jogger. Folds down very flat but weighs a bit more than an umbrella stroller. I love how I could climb a mountain with them in it. It is so easy to push and I'm sure easy with toddlers in it too. It is very well made easy to get replacement parts if ever needed. Another option....

I have the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and I LOVE it. It is very easy to fold and unfold, is not too heavy and steers very well.

I looked at the Zooper Tango, and was about to order one online until I saw it in person and saw how huge it is. I would definately try and check it out in person before ordering that one online.
