Double Stroller Question--lost ours :( & getting a new one

Hi,

Okay, I don't know how this happened, but I arrived at the park today and when I looked in my trunk, our double stroller was gone. Poor guys--they were so looking forward to riding the swings and wanting out of the car, but I can't take them anywhere without the stroller.... I don't think anyone stole it; I most likely left it two days ago, which is the last time I used it, at either the beach pier parking meters, Target, or the park. I called all of the places, and the stroller's nowhere to be found. Well, at least I got a year's worth of use out of it... Still, I am just so disappointed at myself. I must have been exhausted and/or distracted that day. I had a 2006 Maclaren Twin Techno in red. My kids are 15 months old.... Do you think I should get the same stroller, or will my kids grow out of that soon? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.

I used my combi until mine were 2.5, so I think you would still get quite a bit of use out of a new one. That stinks that you lost it I left mine a few places but always realized pretty quickly and went back for it. Then I started parking it right behind my car and putting the baby on the passenger side in 2nd so that I would have to walk right past it or run over it to forget it! I hope you get a new one soon!

 

We still use our Combi at 2.5- I would try get another one, even used if you can at a sale or something. I cant imagine going without a stroller from 15 months plus!

 

YES, get another Maclaren. No matter what kind of Maclaren, personally I think they are the best. My girls are 3 1/2 and we still use ours for trips to Disney, large Zoo's, airports, etc. Yes, you will still get a lot of use out of the stroller. Sorry you lost yours, that totally stinks.

 

We have a Maclaren Twin-traveller, that we still use with our 2.5 year old twins. I don't think they are going to out grow it anytime soon, so if you liked your stroller go ahead and get another one like it.

 

I just wanted to say I love my dreamer designs and each kid can weigh up to 50 lbs. We still have it though we rarely use it, but I figure we will keep it until they can't fit in it anymore because you never know.
