Hi guys ... I'm actually posting this question from my sister, who has been lazy about signing up here. Anyway, I helped her register yesterday, and she registered for this stroller.

    http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3121487

Does anyone have it? Like it? Don't like it? She doesn't need a travel system, as I'm giving her my 2 infant car seats and my double snap and go ... so this stroller would be used once they were out of the bucket seats ... I have a duoglider double, and like it, but they thought this one was cool because you can face the seats in different directions ...

So, give me the good, the bad, the ugly ... and any suggestions for ones you love are appreciated!

    Thanks,

When I was looking at that stroller when I was pregnant I really really wanted it but once we tried it out I hated it. You have to take off the front seat to fold it up, very inconvenient. Also when they are facing each other, there was very little leg room. Now lots of people love this stroller...it just wasnt for us. Also there may be a newer more improved model out now.

Yeah, I read about that ... so I told my sister to look at something else ... what did you end up going with?

We have this stroller and I really, really like it. However, the boys are still in their infant seats, so I'm not sure how I'll feel once we move into the seats it comes with.

It's very easy to fold up and push. The basket underneath is HUGE and I really like the tandem for shopping/mall walks/the zoo/aquarium. We also took it on the airplane, and it was super easy. We did buy the BOB SBS because I walk a lot on trails and at the dog park, so we needed something a little more all terrain.

We tried it and hated it! the girls don't like sitting behind one another. they would rather sit next to each other and that stroller is extremely heavy!

I have to agree with this once they are old enough to use the seats .. but we had a tandem for when they were infants and loved it. Ours wasn't too expensive and we only used it for a year .. then we got the sbs.

My kids are actually better sitting tandem as they can't grab each other as easily. I didn't know about this when the boys were born, or I would have gotten it. One of my friends is expecting baby #2 so I suggested it. She went to Baby Depot (part of Burlington Coat Factory) and she HATED the way it moved and how heavy it is. She went with an Esprit SBS. I think she should try and find one to try out.

I am still using the double snap & go... I put the carriers in so they face each other (one is in backwards) and we love that... I haven't switched to my regular SBS stroller for out & about yet... but we use it in the neighborhood. I really looked at the size and weight of it and how it fit in my car... and this contours one is almost 50 pounds I think... my sbs is closer to 20 pounds, so that's why I went the route I did.

We ended up getting the Graco Quattro Tour Duo http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3238413 and the matching car seats (ours was French Roast) and it was SO awesome to just snap their car seats into and we still use it for grocery shopping pretty often-it is SO easy to fold/unfold and its easy to lift in and out of our SUV (I'm 5'3" and 110lbs). We just recently bought the Combi Twin Sport which is a SBS and love it as well....lightweight super easy to fold and the newer model has cup holders and a snack holder.

If she really wants a tandem for when they are older, we love our Jane Powertwin. Its a jogging/all terraine tandem so it works well outside and in stores. Its more expensive, but we got one off CL that was practically new. We've used it every day since they were 8 months old.
