Dh and I went to BRU this past week to look at the Double Snap 'n Go and we tried every car seat there and could only get two carseats to snap onto it securely (The Baby Trend and Evenflo but neither of us like either of those carseats). I really want a Double Snap 'n Go as opposed to a huge tandem stroller (BTDT with other kids) but once dh saw it in person and how hard it was to find seats that didn't wiggle around on it, he wasn't sold on the idea and is wanting to get the Graco Duo Glider (which I hate). I keep reading on here about how much people love their Double Snap 'n Gos and I'm wondering if we got a lemon to try out or if lots of other people have had this experience, too.

ETA: I know I have a while until I have to decide but there's a multiples group in our area next month that does a baby gear sale twice a year and I would like to try to find a good deal at the sale if I can.

We had the Graco carseats and they fit in there great. There is a bar {maybe two??} that has to be moved according to what carseat you are using. So it might not have been set for the carseat you'd like to use. There is a manual inside that tells you how to assemble the bar so that your carseat will fit into it. I loved mine, so try to sell it to your hubby, it's a great product. :good:

I agree that the graco snug rides fit fine, once you adjust it to the specifications for that seat. The one you tried in the store was probably set up for different seats. I've heard mixed things about whether larger graco seats (the safe ride, or the newer higher-weight snug rides) fit, though.

Add me to the graco snugride club and double snap n go! We bought ours used, so it was already set up for the snugrides so I have no clue how to adjust the bars myself! But the couple we bought it from had this, and a bigger duoglide or whatever the other graco one is, and they much preferred the snap n go and then a smaller side by side!

I am also using a double snap and go with Graco car seats. My sister used them with it and they fit fine!

I LOVED the double snap and go. I had a graco infant seat and an even flo and they both fit. You have to adjust the bars according to the car seat specs. I was so sad when the boys out grew their infant seats because the double snap and go was the most conveinent stroller!! Don't give up on it yet!! :)

I went a couple weeks ago to BRU and tryed the bigger graco car seat that I loved into the snap and go....didnt work, so we moved down to the smaller version of the graco infant seats and they fit awsome, the snap and go on display must have already been adjusted or something :D Thats what were going with for the begining

    Hi,
We have the snap n go and the larger Graco seats (the safeseats), and they fit great - the bars are adjusted so that the seats snap right in. I was worried because I had heard so many different stories about whether or not the Graco Safeseats fit, but I really wanted the larger seats, so I was very happy to discover that they fit great. It must be the way the bars are adjusted. Maybe see if you can go back to the store and have them adjust the bars differently so you can try different seats with it.

    Good luck!!

we got the Graco Snugride 32s (which hold babies up to 32lbs and 32inches) and they work with the DSNG. The bars were installed according to the DSNG specs for Graco and the back clicks in, but you definitely have to use the straps over the front to secure the seats. We got them for $115 at BRU with coupons and the twin discount.

I was at BRU last weekend checking out that same stroller....I have a peg and a graco car seat and wanted to see how the two would fit. The sales person and I were having a really hard time with it until we discovered that they settings weren't right, once their adjusted to your carseats you should be fine.

We just got our double snap and go and DH had to switch out a bar so our Graco SnugRides could fit, but they fit perfectly. Maybe it wasnt fixed to fit them when you tried it. I haven't had my babies yet but we wanted to make sure everything fit and even though I haven't officially used it yet I love it already it's so easy to open and close and it folds up nce to fit in my trunk too!!!

I loved my Snap n go and almost cried when we switched them to their convertible car seats. It made life so much easier. We had the regular Graco seats and never had any issues, but you do have to adjust the bars to the correct placement. I also got the duoglider and it's been used maybe 10 times in a year. I use a $7 garage sale find double umbrella stroller now rather than drag out the huge expensive brand new duoglider :) It's heavy, but mostly I don't like the latches on the belt. The boys squirm and it takes forever to get them strapped in. I say go for the snap n go and spend your stroller money on a jogger or twin umbrella.

I also used the Graco Snugride (the larger infant seats) in the double snap n go and it worked fine. When I first tried it, I couldn't get it to fit and was very upset because I already had the babies home and was ready to use it. I realized that although I adjusted the bars to fit Graco, I had left an extra bar in. It fit fine after that.
