Double snap n go

I was wondering how long those of you who used infant car seats and the double snap n go used it before you switched to regular car seats and strollers. When you switched what did you end up getting and would you recommend it? TIA

We used the double snap n go until the twins were 6 months old. I still miss that thing! After that we got the combi twin savvy {I think that's the name of it} and yes, I highly recommend it! :good: It's a great stroller. It's not too heavy and it's very easy to fold.

 

We went to 8 months - I stretched it as long as I possibly could. We use our Maclaren Twin Techno a little more now, but we were using it before around the neighborhood. The snap-n-go we mostly used when we were driving somewhere first, and now for those trips we either use the Maclaren or stick 'em in the shopping cart.

 

We used ours for about 8 months. We then bought a Combi Twin Savvy and we love it. We still use it regularly.

 

We'll be using it until they outgrow the infant seats. They are only 12 pounds now, so we've got quite a while before we need to switch.

 

The twins are going to be six months on Friday- but we haven't used the SNG for a while. My DD doesn't like the carseat- so that combination never really worked for us. We have a Countour Options Tandem and they seem to really like it. You have to remove a seat to fold it up- which is a little bit of a pain, but I like how you can move the seats into four different configurations.

 

We only used ours until they were about 4 months old. Both my boys hated being in their infant carseats so we switched to convertibles and got 3 strollers: 1 Baby Jogger City Mini and 2 Maclaren single umbrellas. This is a great combo for us. The City Mini is the greatest stroller. And I use it when it's just me or when we go for walks. When there's someone else with me, we use the 2 umbrellas...which makes it so much easier.

 

Mine are almost 9 months and since they are still in their infant car seats we still use the SNG when we are doing errands. Our seats are rated to 30lbs and we aren't there yet so I will keep using them until we can't anymore. It will be a sad, sad day when we can no longer use the SNG! I LOVE that thing. One of THE best twin things EVER!
