Double Red Blood Donation

    Has anyone done this? Did you do it again? ; )  lol
     
    I'm scheduled to donate tomorrow. I always do the regular donation, but every time they ask me to change to the double-red. (for those that don't know, they draw blood, separate out two units of red bloods cells and put your white clood cells, plasma & some saline back in. ) Something about it just...IDK, I'm really hesitant to do it. Thoughts

    I've never done it.  I hope someone who has will post.  I am curious myself about it.

    Dh does this all the time.  He doesn't have any problems with it.  It does take longer than a regular donation.

    Well, I did the regular whole blood again. Ironically, this is the first time they didn't ask. Maybe next time = )
