Double jogger

Does any one have the "instep suburban double jogging stroller" or the "Baby Trend expedition double jogging stroller." We were looking at them online and the prices are reasonable but can't decide which is better. Any input???

 

We have the Instep Safari. It is a great double jogger for the $, I think. I got mine off of ebay, brand new for $130. You might also check out the Schwinn, I think it has a better sun shade.

 

I have the Schwinn and the sunshade is AMAZING! It also has a rain protector built into the shade. I bought one that is aluminum so that it doesn't rust as easily (I bring ours to the beach). It does add more $$$ to the pricetag though. I think you can get an extra shade that attaches to the small one. I honestly don't have one complaint about ours.

 

I just bought the Baby Trend Double jogger from Walmart.com. I love this thing. It's got the cup tray on top (for me) and the In Step didn't. I also like the front wheel, which is swivel, but can lock. As I expected there are some doors and aisles it doesn't fit through, which would be a problem with most jogging strollers.

I'm soooo happy I got this. Trying to go for a walk with a tandem stroller was killing my hands.

 

we have got the baby trend. i really like it but it BARELY fits through door ways. but we love it for outside trips!

 

Someone gave us the Baby Trend used. It might have been an older model b/c the front wheel was locked in place so you had to lift the stroller to change direction at all. Plus it was quite large when folded up. It didn't really work for us but if we'd had a garage to store it in we might have kept it. (With limited space, we didn't want to make room for a stroller we'd only be able to use occasionally and that would take up most of our trunk.)

Love this one!! I have it too and the swivel wheel is a MUST, not matter what you buy. I completely got EVERY penny out of all my strollers!!

 

We bought the baby trend used and hated it because the front wheel didn't swivel. We ended up buying the Schwinn and I agree the sunshade is great. I have had no complaints at all with the Schwinn.

 

Thanks Ladies. I will make sure we get one that has a swivel wheel in the front. I'll let my husband read these and make up his mind cuz I'm leaving it up to him (if I pick the wrong one I will never hear the end of it lol.)

 

We have the baby trend expedition and i love it. Its light and easily maneuverable and has a good style to it.
