So we are having a heck of a time trying to figure out what to do in the stroller department so that I can leave the house now and then after the babies come. It wouldn't be too bad if it were just 2 but we also have a dd just turning 1 so by the time the twins arrive she will probably only be about 14.5 months. I really don't think she'll be a good enough walker by then (if she even is walking which I kinda doubt) to be able to toddle along after us we really a need a triple stroller. Yeah I know UGH!

If you are bored (and I do mean bored) you could go to my blog and read about my agonizing decision between strollers/options and carseats. We really need help. We were thinking the Joovy Big Caboose because of the platform but it's rated for 2.5 years olds not 15 month olds. But all my other friends think this is still the best option, we are just afraid there isn't enough room on the backseat when the carseats are installed. :(

So anywho...DH found this stroller. I have to admit I had seen it before, it's just not very pretty I guess but it looks like it may suit our needs in the very beginning with 2 infants and a non-walking toddler. Here is the link to the Double Decker Stroller. Anyone ever heard of it/know anyone who has it/ Have it themselves? We would be looking at the triple one with 2 car seats and a toddler seat add on. It's hugely pricey too so if we don't like it...ugh a ton of money down the drain.

So again if you are bored and want to read my blog post here if the link to my blog too. (The double decker option I discussed above wasn't included in the post because hubby just showed me this morning.)

I appreciate and welcome any ideas on how to let me leave the house at least once a week by myself. I don't have family to help and I'm not one to ask anyone anyway. Too stubborn I guess. ;)

have you ever thought about pouching or carrying one twin and just using a double stroller? I do that with my twins and almost 3 yr old. she likes to sit in the stroller still.

Thanks, yeah that's definitely one option. We do live in a place where it can get to -30 to -35 in the winter though and so we use the car seat covers on the little babes so we don't have to take them out of their carseats. But we were thinking I could wear my older one, although to get her in a pouch/carrier in a full snowsuit...LOL! (That's actually one of the options on my blog heehee)

I have to admit I keep getting hung up on the ones that are prettier. Getting a double stroller and matching carseats like you suggested would look nice so nice ;) If we get the Joovy the only one available is blue and I can't find carseats to match. I know I shouldn't be so picky and I am sure I will end up not being picky...but it's kinda hard KWIM?

I had/have the double decker and honestly, I would have rather had a Snap N Go (double of course). Because the front wheel is fixed, it's a pain to maneuver and the babies face out so you can never see them while you are pushing. It was given to us used and I'm in search of someone else to give it to, but it's just too heavy to ship. Wish you lived closer or it could be yours!

I like the Valco too, but wonder if you can hook the carseats on with the toddler attachment.

Thanks so much for the responses I am getting seriously confused, add in sales and the feeling that we have to get it now while its cheaper and I am just so fed up with trying to figure it all out.

I showed hubby the Valco and he was a little worried about the toddler attachment, he said it looked like they would be just kinda hanging in the air. Ugh! Have you had a chance to see it in person? What did you think if you did? ALso on their website under the carseat adaptor question it says can fit one carseat on twin. Now I'm wondering if you can use 2 carseats with the Valco or only one...hmmm. Maybe it just means one adaptor per seat, that would make sense for sure.

Thanks for the info on the double decker, hubby seems to be very interested in that one (only we would get the triple) but I'm just not sure. I thought the infant seats were facing away in all the pics on the website and was wondering that myself. It's nice to know that the handling isn't that great, that's something you can't tell from pics. I wish wish wish we could go to a store and actually see all of our options, but the only ones we can see are the regular graco doubles.

Lots of people here have the valcro thing, I haven't seen it since I live abroad, but why not post in the Parent's Club to get a wider variety of resposes?
I remember seeing a double decker stroller on TV that was obviously for older child-baby combo NOT twins as the seats were totally unequal. You'd put the baby in the botton and the older kid on top.

Does the front wheel of the double decker swivel?? if not I would stay away from it. I bought a double jogging stroller (at a yard sale so it was cheap thank goodness!) and the front wheel did not swivel - that think is worthless and we HATE it!!

Good idea! I think I saw the one you are talking about, it actually looks scary to me LOL. I think it's the Bob or Phil and Teds or something like that.

Mommymeg said it doesn't swivel so it doesn't sound like it woud be that maneuaverable. And on a triple decker, wow that would be a nightmare!

One of my mom's coworkers recommended it to me she has one for her toddler and twins and loves it. She didnt seem to have a problem with it.
