I was trying to find some more outdoor stuff that my girls can get a few years of use out of...and that I could also move into the basment after summer is over.

I found this dome climber at TRU...I think the girls would LOVE it and it's for ages 3-8.

Anyone have this? It got good reviews. Wondering how sturdy it is since I am also watching 2 other kids during the week.

We have the "deluxe" version with an extra squared section at the top. Here is a photo to show what I mean:

I'd suggest looking for the deluxe because they really love sitting up there in that top section. I got the deal of the century at Aldi but I found it a couple of places online back when I was looking.

As for the review... It's very stable, light enough to lift and vacuum under (in case you're crazy enough to put it in your living room like I did), and they play on it frequently and have since I bought it in September for their 2nd birthday. I can see it lasting another 2 years at least.

It is a pain in the heiny to assemble. Do NOT attempt to assemble with awake children and I would suggest bedtime rather than naptime because it took me about 2 hours. Worth every minute, though.

Thanks for the review...can it be unassembled? I mean, we have room to put it on our basement, but would be nice to be able to take apart if we needed.

Yes, it fits together with the same kind of little buttons & holes as some vacuums use for their attachments. Each end of a tube section has two buttons in different positions so it might take a helper to take it apart but DH managed to take the top section off of ours on his own to get it through the front door (didn't have to take anything else apart to do it).

THat is what I was talking about in the other thread you started! I guess I called it an igloo climber...oops. I saw it assembled at TRU and it looked so cool. We saw one at Sam's Club last year and it looked neat as well.

With more kids/ maybe put some mulch or foam cushions under it?
