Has anyone got their little ones some dolls and do they actually play with them? I still want to get DD a couple at one point (even if DS ends up playing with them), but I'm not sure if it's too early or what type I should get.

DD has a Little Mommy baby doll that she does play with. She hugs her doll and goes "aah" and then will kiss her doll. DS will also hug and kiss the "baby" as they both call the doll. I say go for it.

It's never too early! :good: I'm sure both will impress you with how they  the doll and do things that you do to them.

Mine are loving their dolls lately  We have a few different ones (mostly soft body w/ plastic faces/hands)
They call them 'baby' and will bring them over to sit on my lap & then pick them up & hold them on their shoulder & go 'awwwwww' like I do when I hold babies

We just got THESE dolls by Corolle & they LOVE them! One has brown eyes (like Chloe) and purple hair & the other has blue eyes (like Sydney) & pink hair - fun!

My two have about three dolls each and they will have nothing to do with them. They just don't seem interested.

Mine received build-a-bears for their birthday. Rose really likes hers [a doggie]. Alyssa likes hers [a bunny], but doesn't go for it all the time. Though the bunny gets lots of attention from Rose cause for some unknown reason, everytime she see's that bunny she's GOT to depants it, lol

Mine love stuffed animals and also have one doll that they enjoyed most around 15-18 months. I say go for it! If they aren't interested, put it away for a few months then try again!
