Annie turned 4 in December. For breakfast today (at 7, before preschool) she had 3/4 of a PB/J sandwich, some applesauce, chocolate milk. Lunch at school (@11:30) was a whole PB/J sandwich, applesauce, milk (her choice, yes, the same as breakfast!)

After we pick her up at noon and come home, Joey, Ellie, and I eat. Today Annie had a bowl of spaghettios about 1:00. By 2 she was hounding me for more food, so she got 3 peanut butter cracker sandwiches and a glass of milk. She ate 1 1/2 cracker sandwiches and drank all the milk before falling asleep on the couch.

    What a little piggy!!

Not my little guys. They don't like to eat when they wake up, hence nothing before snack time at school 3X a week. They eat their lunches, but still have to struggle to eat dinner most nights. I know when they come home from school though, they are starving, so they can get hungry. It just doesn't happen very often to my picky eaters.

Maybe your daughter hit a growth spurt. Those take alot of energy!

Sounds normal for a kid that age. Doesn't sound like much. The more then burn off the more then' think' they want.

    Maybe this will help, my twins were 4 in October;

this is yesterdays meals for my son

B: Cereal with milk and water to drink
    S: fruit
L: cottage cheese and a dill pickle water to drink
S: 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich and a juice box
    S#2: Popcorn around 4ish
My daughter has gymnastics from 6-7pm on Mondays and Ryan takes a snack to keep him content there
S#3: cheese and crackers, juice box and some bugle chips
Dinner: kraft dinner with cut up hot dogs.and milk

I swear I"m getting a job at the grocery store for the discounts LMAO. I also have a 14 year old stepson 12 year old s/daughter and I've seen my 4 year old keep with the 14 year old!

My girls turned four in November. Kaitlyn eats just about that amount. She likes having three full meals and snacks. Kelly is a grazer. She picks all day and is three pounds lighter than Kaitlyn.

My boys are 4.5. Here's a typical day of food for them:

Breakfast: bowl of oatmeal with raisins and 1/2 banana, milk

    Snack: graham crackers and juice

Lunch: 1/2 sandwich, pretzels, grapes, a couple raw veggies, yogurt or pudding

Snack: Raw veggies or peanut butter crackers, or sometimes a cookie or candy

Supper: Usually they eat more than I do for supper. Last night was 5 meat-filled ravioli with sauce and parmesan, 1 slice garlic bread, and corn. DH made cherry soda/vanilla ice cream floats for dessert.

My girls eat about that too.
    today they had
breakfast: a toasted waffle and a bowl of cereal with milk, and a glass of OJ.
snack gold fish (they were at preschool today)
lunch yogurt, 1/2 PBJ sandwich (sometimes they also have fruit too)
snack (only if they didn't have a snack at school
snack again (after nap) Kira ate almost a whole apple (didn't eat two slices)
dinner, we had lasana and Kira had two full helpings and a biscuit. with a glass of milk.

then also after breakfast Katrina is constantly asking if it's time for lunch and usually has her yogurt early. They both ask for food a lot.
