So today I got out the exersaucer for the first time to put the babies in it. Well, Hyrum was so excited to have it out! He played with it a lot more then he ever did when he was little and loved showing the babies what it could do. He was so cute! Hyrum was trying to help me clean it as well. Anyways, any time I get out some old toys (new to the babies) he is always right there playing with them again and more so then he did when he was little. Does anyone elses child do this?

Mine do. My girls will play with toys that they haven't played with in years when I bring them out for Matteo. They love playing with all his baby toys it seems more now than when they were babies. The megasaucer was actually my girls favorite spot to play on with their toys (and some of his) until I had to put a stop to it because the were leave their toys there, which he isn't aloud to play with.

yeppers...Anthony does the same thing. He LOVES all the babies toys (most of them were once his, too). I figured it had a lot to do with jealousy...he want's to play with something because it's his brothers...not really because he wants to play with it...kwim?

Yup. If I bring home a new toy for each of them, she's more interested in the baby toys! I wonder why I bother. She loves to get in there and play with them, but I have to remind her that she has to share! It's caused a few battles, with the babies getting knocked over. They are starting to get more possessive and will now yell if she takes something they are playing with!

yep, gavin did the same thing. I guess he realizes they are real people. He just loved to look at them and show them the toys. then when they come out of it, he has to put his elmo in there and show him how everything works. Aren't they cute??

Yes, even my six year old has fun playing with the 'new' baby toys. That's why it works so well if you rotate your toys each month or week that way when you take out the ones that were gone for a while - it is new to them again.

Evie is the same way! Whenever I put Ellie in the exersaucer (her favorite toy), Evie comes up and starts pushing all the buttons and twirling all the twirly things. She actually scares Ellie sometimes (Evie has a SUPER loud voice!!)

Yes! My 7 year old is playing with her old LIttle People Farm, House, Downtown etc that I pulled out for the boys. And the huge box of mega bloks is a huge hit with all 3 kids. :p

All the time! My boys always got a bigger kick out of the baby toys than my DD ever did! Every time I broke out something new they were right there playing with it and trying to show their sister how to do it.

Yes, my 3 year old does that. We bought the babies presents for Christmas that were more for 6 month and older and we put them in their closet for later. Well, we finally had to pull tham out and put them together for my son to play with because he kept asking so much!!
