does everyone get NST'S?

Hi, I have an appointment at 32 and 34 weeks already scheduled but I have not been scheduled for any NST's. Is this something every twin pregnancy should be doing? Maybe I should request them.

 

I never had an NST, and we all came out just fine. I wouldn't worry about it if your OB isn't.

 

Went 37 weeks and didn't have one.

 

i asked my peri about it and she said i'll only have it if necessary. not sure what criteria would make it necessary, though. i didn't think to ask that!!

 

My doc said that I will get them, first one being around 32-34 wks.

 

Nope, haven't had one yet and haven't been told I need one.

 

I started mine a week early due to baby sizes, but I was going to start them at week 34 anyways.

MIne started weekly at 32 weeks due to Gestational Diabetes. But my Dr said i would be having them at 34 weeks anyhow.

 

I didn't get NST's until I was on hospital bedrest. I was there 30-32 weeks and then back in again between 32.5 and 34 weeks...I had them the last round there.

 

I wish more doctors did. I'd want to know the results.

 

I've never had one. I dont think they will.

 

i get 2 done a week. i'm not sure what the criteria is honestly to get one done but i get mine done every monday and thursday.

 

I had one for my singleton...but he was overdue.
I never had one for my twins.

 

I never had one done while pregnant with twins.

 

I started them 2x a week at 29 weeks due to PTL, but I was going to start them at 34 weeks anyways...

 

Not everyone gets NST's. It's up to your doctor based on criteria such as how old you are, how you are doing with the pregnancy, and how the baby/ies are doing. Mine were REALLY boring, and I had to go once a week from 32 weeks on, and a second time each week starting at 36 weeks.

 

I didn't have any.
