Does anyone worry about this?

Anyone having id twins ever wonder if their going to be able to tell them apart? I have this awful fear that we're not going to be able to tell them apart and get them mixed up. I dont want them growing up thinking their the other one. (If you understand what im saying!) I hope I am not the only one with this fear.

 

I had the same worry. I bought my girls bracelets to wear (so I could take off the hospitals ones!) to tell them apart. My DD has the same type of bracelet and she doesn't act like she knows it's there unless you ask her about it! Your ticker doesn't say if you are having boys or girls. Obviously I like the bracelet idea for girls. With boys I can't think of anything right off........

 

There have been lots of posts about this so you are not the only one
previous posters have said they have used bracelets, put a dot of nail polish on one twins toenail, or always color coded their clothing to tell apart.

Our boys were born with a weight differance, but even when they caught up to each other we could tell them apart.

It's weird because to me they look NOTHING alike, yet strangers can't get over how identical they are!! And even the grandparents have a hard time when we give them haircuts!

 

My husband jokes that he is going to mark one with a sharpee or tatoo one in fear of telling them apart. My cousin had twin boys and fastened different pins to their clothing to tell them apart.
