Does anyone use the Bjorn Potty in the car?

We have the larger Bjorn potty chair that has the removable basin. I do not really want to buy another potty chair for the car, but I am unsure if the type we have will work. My main question: What do you do with the pee (and poop!?!) while you are away from the house?

 

We used to keep one in the back of my car. I used to just line the bottom with a diaper (had left overs), or I would just pour the pee out outside.

 

I pull any solids and put them in a dog poop bag, then dump out liquids and wipe with a few wipes. I put the wipes in the poop bag, or in the trash bag in the car. But I don't use that particular potty, I use one of the froggie potties in the car.

 

We had the smaller version and we used it in the car all the time. I kept a separate bag with a roll of paper towels, some baggies, and Clorox wipes. If it was just pee, I would dump it and wipe it out. If it was poop, I would use the paper towels to scoop it out, bag it up, then wipe the potty down and throw the wipes in the potty.

 

you could line it with a plastic grocery bag and a woman's pad... that is how I use the Potette Plus portable potty... then you just tie up the bag and throw it all away, no mess!

 

We keep a Bjorn potty chair in our van too. We used to have 2 but sold 1 of them since they are fully potty trained. However, I decided to keep one just in case as there is a park that has limit bathroom area especially during t-ball days.
