Ever since our girls got sick last month, they have started to wake up an hour earlier, between 6:00 - 6:30. I just let them talk and squeal (at the top of their lungs!) to around 7 and they usually fall back asleep until 7:30. I was just wondering if anyone elses babies do this? I can't remember if my older DD did the same thing. Thanks!

Sometimes I do for a half hour or so (when they wake up at 7 and I want just 30 more minutes) I dont see any issues with it since they aren't crying.

Yes, our two do that as well. They eat at 6am and then back down to nap or play or whatever til 8am. They play with their own crib toys or lay on their backs and squeal playing with their toes or they'll go back to sleep eventually. Even during their naptime, I find that they talk or just play. But I let them go anyway, I like to keep them on their schedules.
    It's cute listening to them.

Yep - ours get up around six, and I don't go in there until at least 6:30, sometimes later. I love hearing the babbling [IMG]

My girls do the same thing. Josie has a bad cold and is teething, so she's been waking up earlier than normal and during the middle of the night - sometimes crying but sometimes just talking and playing. If they both wake up earlier than normal and are content I leave them until 7 or even 7:30 if they're content.

yes we do! I think it's a beautiful sound! As long as they are not crying I'll let them babble on! [IMG]

Heck yeah! If they're in there talking and not screaming/crying I let them hang out and "talk". It's nice to get a few extra zzzz's.
