I have been having horrible knee, calf, and ankle pain and achiness that gets progressively worse through the day. At first I was concerned about a blot clot but it alternates legs and is not constant. I told my doctor and she thinks that because both boys are head down and pretty low in my pelvis that the increased pressure and decreased circulation etc. is probably what is causing it. She said that it will probably only get worse so I should keep my feet up as much as possible. Did anyone else have this problem and what did you do?

I have no help, but I am actually going on leave from work after the 15th because of my leg and pelvic pain...I have just been using ice and getting my feet rubbed when I can, but other than that just dealing with it...Sorry no advice just wanted to say I know how you feel..

I've been having some pain like that and talked to my Dr. about it. He said that since I've been pregnant before most likely its because my hips are already losening up so they slip and that causes the pain in other areas as well. He said not much to do for it but take tylenol if it gets really bad. I've also been eating bananas for potassium to help with any leg cramps.

I've heard that maternity support belts (especially the ones that have shoulder straps) can help relieve some of that pressure by carrying some of the weight for you. It might be worth trying one to see if it helps at all, especially if you can get it covered by insurance.

I hear ya'!!! I 've had knee, hip, leg & feet pain for weeks now. Nothing much to do, my doctor said, but to try to stay off your feet when you can & elevate your feet too. I had heard that the support hose or belly support can give some relief too. Good luck!

The manicurist in my neighborhood has one of those massage chairs with the leg cuffs. I go every 2 weeks for a mani/pedi and they let me come in to sit in the chair any time I want in between for free. It works WONDERS!!! Takes away ALL the swelling and pain.
You can also buy the leg cuffs online, I believe. Not sure what they are called but give it a look see.
    Good luck!
