Does anyone have a hair puller? I do and he is relentless. He goes right for his brother (like 50 x/day) Im not kidding either. I always stop it right away and tell him very stern "NO!" but every time he laughs at me sometimes hysterically and does it again or just does something else. He crawls over his brother now that he's taking a few steps he will take a few steps over to where his brother is and fall into him. He will push him out of the way take toys away etc.. Ahh! he's a handfull

My Lorien is a hair puller. She rips my hair out more than anyone. I have so many broken pieces of hair from it. When she does it to her sister though, I always grab her hand and say to her "show love with your hands" (saw it on an episode of Baby Story once) and holding her hand, I guide her to stroke Arwens hair very gently and say, "nice, nice." It has helped a lot. She tends to be a bit more gentle but everytime I see her going for the hair I do it again. I'm hoping that I'm teaching her to be loving to her sister and in fact just a couple of days ago, she started grabbing Arwen and hugging her and giving her kisses. It's so freakin cute.

Patrick is relentess as well, but his fetish is my hair. I think his plan is for me to bald like Daddy because Daddy makes him laugh more [IMG]

I have 2 hair grabbers. They aren't really pulling on it so much as just grabbing and holding on for dear life! I swear it is like trying to opent he jaws of life in order to pry my hair out of their little hands. [IMG]

I have hair pullers also. They pull my hair, each other & one of my ds pulls his own hair. My mil told me his dad did the same thing. I like pp have the problem of them just laughing when I tell them no. I will try the stroking with the nice, nice & see if it helps.

Yup both mine pull my hair at any opportunity they can get!!! It hurts too as they wont let go! They have started getting really jealous of each other recently and like to grab each other faces which is cute to begin with untill one of them cries. x

2 hair snatchers here. Sometimes it's the hair, others it's for whatever I am using to hold my hair back to keep it from them.

My nephew is almost 2 and he is such a hair puller and always has been. Now he is pretty good about doing it nicely. He needs to play with his or your hair as he's falling asleep. It's his soother. What we did when he would pull our hair is when he was old enough to understand it if he pulled my hair I'd pull his right back. I'd do it just a little bit and keep pulling a little bit more telling him "NO PULLING HAIR" very sternly. He pretty quickly learned to stop before your hand even made it onto his hair! His little brother (one of the twins) is also a hair puller. He just hangs on for dear life. We haven't started pulling his hair yet but will probably start soon.. poor kid doesn't have as much hair as his older brother did.

Luckily the boys have almost no hair- but they pull mine like crazy! Normally, they pull it to hold on to something as we go downstairs or something- but they DO NOT let go! OUCH!!!

Nathan is a hair puller! And it really hurts when he gets ahold of my hair! Jacob will play with my hair but he is my gentle boy.
