Does anyone else use Alimentum formula?

One of my twins was switched to Alimentum formula last week. I would like to switch them both but it is terribly expensive. We can only get it here in 237ml ready made cans and a box of 4 cans is 7$. Does anyone know anywhere else that might be cheaper or anyway to get my hands on any coupons? I was also wondering about nutramigen because it comes in powder here and I can use the coupons from enfamil for it. Thanks for any info you might be able to provide me. Also what did you switch your kids to after they were a year old after being on alimentum? I am not sure what we are going to do once they are a year old. Thanks

We tried Nutramigen out on one of my boys because at the time he was spitting up so much and always having tummy issues. But he HATED Nutramigen! I couldn't get him to eat it, so I have a can in our pantry that is mostly full. I only took out 8 scoops to make him a batch then. I understand if you don't want to accept an opened can of formula from a stranger on the internet, LOL, but if you think you want to try Nutramigen but want to see if your babies will even eat it before buying some (I think I paid $27 for that can), send me a PM and I can mail this can to you (if you are the U.S.).

Plenty of babies will eat Nutramigen and Alimentum, in spite of it smelling narsty, heh, but my baby just wasn't having it. Good luck in whichever hypoallergenic formula you decide to try! Wish I knew where you could find some coupons for them.

EDITED: I see that one is already on Alimentum now, so at least you know that he won't reject that (expensive) formula. But if anybody would like to try out a mostly full can of Nutramigen for free just send me a PM.

Crap, I just realized I received a $5 Similac coupon just last week, for any Similac formula. I think I may have threw it away since we don't use Similac anymore :( I'll look through the recycle bin and see if I can find it. If so I'll PM you. Hopefully some others here may have some Similac coupons they can send you as well.

Okay, this should be my last reply on this topic, LOL. Maybe you should look into buying unopened cans of Alimentum from people on Craigslist, and just offer to cover the cost of shipping? You could do a google search for: site:craigslist.org alimentum.

For instance I found this person here wanting to sell 49 bottles of it for half price:

They are asking for cash, but Paypal is basically same as cash.
