I just had to go and buy DS new PJ's because the lil porker has grown out of everything else! I am the person who likes to buy things large... I ended up buying sizes 18-24 and 2T!!! He is 7.5 months old!!!!!! He is in the 95th percentile for everything.. and at 6 months was 20 lbs and 28 in!!! hes so big!!!

Here is a pic of him in the 18-24 sized PJ's.

They arent even huge!! I dont know what i am going to do..

Do they have extendable clothes? JK

ETA: Wanted to add that dd is 15 lbs and 25 inches at the 6 month appt. and is still wearing 3-6 month clothing loosly! I havbe one on both sides... :unknw:

Yes -- my Karina is like that! She's been in 12-18 for some time now, and some of those are getting tight. Thankfully I have a ton of Nadia's old clothes that I've saved, so I'm not running out of stuff....(although she's wearing clothes that Nadia wore waaay later in age!)

He's such a cutie! I wish mine would hold their own bottles.

I have large babies too. They were 9lbs 11.5 oz & 8lbs @ birth (10 days early). THey just turned 4 months & are 18 lbs & 15.5 lbs. They're both in 6 month clothes (little guy mostly for the length) but my older boy can wear 6-9 month clothes & they fit just about right.

He has been holding bottles since 6 months.. Is it really that uncommon? I thought it was normal.. they are both holding their bottles!! (and have been)

Mine didn't consistently hold their own bottles until about 10 months. Maybe they were just being lazy?! :nea:

Yes, big 'uns here. My girls are now (at 10.5 m) in 12-18 mo clothes. My pedi used the words "big giant babies" at our 9 mo appt. when I told him they still got pureed food. "They're big, giant babies, give them finger foods" were about his words. They are 95th %ile for all. C is off the charts for height. My oldest has always been in the 95th. No, DH and I are not big people.

We sure do, and I feel your pain on having to buy the bigger clothing/pajamas and wondering how long they'll fit! The outfits I bought for their Easter pic's were 18-24 mo sizes. Ava can even wear some 2T pants, depending on the brand...

At their 6 mo checkup in January she & Max were in the 99th percentiles both weighing 23 lbs and 29" in length. Now they are each almost 26 lbs, it's crazy.

I too am so jealous that yours hold their bottles, at 9 months ours don't even make an attempt - lucky you!!

(You could nickname your little guy 'tank', lol)

I would have to say yes. My boys are three months old and weigh 17 and 18 pounds. I just bought them 6 to 9 month clothing, but I'm thinking I should have went up one more!

    BTW he is adorable!

Your DS is adorable! My DD has a large head, we tried putting a shirt on her the other day and could not get it around her head. I told her she had big brains!

Yes, we call our DS our chunky monkey. He's a big boy, he only weighs 15 lbs but he feels so much heavier. Our DD is long and very skinny

Darn, I can't see any of the pics because it's blocked by my work. But my DS was 21 lbs & 28 3/4 inches at 6 months, 24.1 lbs and 30.5 inches at 9 months, and 25.1 lbs and 32 inches at 1 year ... so the weight gain did slow down on him ... he was 95% at 9 months, and now 85%. But height is still holding strong at 97% ...

I have big boys, too...but not that big! My Aiden has to be 22-24 lbs (I won't know until his 9 mo appt). It depends on the brand, but he wears some 12-18...and 18-24 in Old Navy! And to think I had bought PREEMIE clothes for these chunks!

BTW, my DS Aiden has held his bottle since around 7 1/2 mos. Conner is just STARTING to get the hang of it....

I have little tiny girls but my ds is a tank-and a little piggy:)
My DH and I are both pretty small so I am sure my ds will have to slow down at some point.
I love chubby babies...they look so healthy to me!
Good job!!! He is super cute!

I'm in the same boat. My DS is 20 lbs and 28 in at 5.5 mos. DD is 15 lbs and 25 in. Yesterday I had them in the matching outfits in the same size. DD's were loose and long. I had to roll the cuffs of her pants. DS looked like he was wearing a muscle shirt and man-pries. DS wore all the summer clothes I had for him on our trip to FL. I'm hoping a few still fit this summer, but I'm definitely going to hit garage sales. DD will probably be wearing sundresses with turtlenecks at Christmas. I'm just glad he wasn't as big as his dad at birth. He was 10.6.

Extendable clothes? My niece had a little onesie extender for her son. I thought it was great. DS grows out of stuff length first. She said she got it at BRU. It was by the onesies.
