doc appt update

well i went in and told him my concerns and that i wasnt clear on when to call or not call. i told him various problems (stabbing pain, cramping, etc) and he said the same thing for all of it- if it gets worse and worse to call.soooo if i feel like crap its okay, as long as i dont feel crappier in ia 30min time frame? lol rightttt. anyhow..got the script for the 1 hr sugar test, and i'll go for an internal u/s in 2wks to check cervical length, and i go back to see him in 2 wks. woohoo. mom and i did go to walmart afterwards and registered for baby stuff. i got to use a wheelchair scooter thing, lol. and i got a letter from dh so that was good. im still on the procardia every 4hours. after i take it i feel like total crap for the first 45min or so, then it levels out. they also notice my heart racing- i guess its the meds? blah. feeling crampy right now, but hopefully it goes away. anyhow, thats my update!! how exciting right?

 

yep, the procardia is horrid stuff- it's got plenty of side effects. I'm sorry your dr is being so vague. nothing like feeling you've got to sort it out on your own. I hope as things progress that you can either find a way to get what you need from your dr (or maybe find a new one?). sending a big hug!!

 

my hubby was always vauge in bootcamp, they freak them out make them think that they're reading their letters when they arent.. but thats the unfun part. My Dh is a marine, was in for 8 years we're transitioning out now. I was on terb if its anything like the terbutaline i totally feel you, just rest and keep your feet up

 

aw my lil brother is a marine, got 2 years of active left, then reserves. dh is army (marines wouldnt take him, lol), and he JUST started boot. i jump every time the phone rings, thinking MAYBE its him!! lol duh, theyre not gonna let him call me. he'll be graduating on the babies due dates, pretty funny. obviously he's gonna miss the birth, but what can ya do!! we knew that when he signed up. still miss him like crazy though.

 

aww it's gotta be real hard to have to go through this without DH there. i would sleep with the phone with me in the bed lol. and the hormones to top it all off i would be crying all the time. good luck with everything :hug99: i send u many hugs
