My guys overall are good eaters. Jacob has even started eating bits of chicken, cheese, egg, regular oatmeal and the chunkier Stage 3 type foods. Noah is more difficult with the more textured foods. He gags!! Even with the Stage 3 baby food. Also, any bits of food I put on the tray like cheese, chicken he just throws on the floor. When I try to feed it to him he wants nothing to do with it.

Now, the past few days they do not even want the Stage 2 foods off the spoon.

Should I be worried? They are still drinking milk, getting some solid foods in them but, not nearly the portions they usually do. Could this be a phase? Or could cutting teeth stop them from wanting to eat? I have been adding fruit and cereal to their bottles to make sure they are getting food in them.

Also, they had a ROUGH, ROUGH night from 12:30-1:30 Crying and Screaming. They wanted to be held. They were fed, dry and when we went to put them back down they were horrible. I had to CIO for over an hour. It was the first time in months we had any issues with them at night.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Sounds like it could be teething. My 2 definately go through phases of eating more and less.

Mine still do that as well... today I have tried to MAKE them eat, and they just barely nibble.

Okay, I feel like I am forcing them also....so, I will just relax and go with the flow.

Maybe it's a "Noah " thing...My Noah has been difficult to eat solids...he gags on the chicken and refuses the beef baby food (although I don't quite blame him)...He can be fiesty :)

Your Noah is feisty too huh? Well, lets just say mine has a heart of gold but, when he wants to do something Watch Out!

yep! mine do this. I've noticed in the last 2 wks it is hit or miss. Somedays they will eat, and somedays I think they must be starving because they have barely eaten at all.

My Noah is sweet and has his shy, flirty moments but as you said when he wants something he doesn't mess around!

Mine are close in age to yours and my dd has the same issues.... she's not 'picky' but is funny with texture. her brother can eat anything, but she needs it pureed still and is funny about different things on different days.

teething, colds, just not feeling like it.... who knows... I wouldn't worry though.. they are old enough now that if they're hungry, they'll eat :)
