Do your twins drink the same formula?

I just bought our 4th kind of formula. One of the twins seems to do well on soy, but the other one would get a nasty look on her face and refused to eat. We swiched her back to a milk-based formula, but she still seems fussy and gassy. I bought Enfamil's Gentlease today which has less lactose, but still milk based. Just wondering if this is common. Does this mean they are fraternal?

My twins are fraternal and are on different formulas. I do not know if there is a correlation between the two. My Noah is on Enfamil GentleEase....he went through Similac, soy, and Aliumentum before this worked for his gas pains. My Jacob is on the same formulas since birth.....Similac Advance with Iron. I always mixed breast milk with the formula so they always had a 50/50 ratio until they were 4months old.

As far as the gas now, Noah still gets it where he screams before he toots. The ladies here on the forum suggested gripe water which I purchased yesterday and used last night and he had the most restful night of sleep he has had in ages. He only woke once and put himself back down with in two to three minutes.

No, being on different formulas doesn't mean they are FRAT.

They were on Neosure from 1-3 months, then Jack I switched to Isomil from 3-6 months, then switched them both to Good Start at 6 months.

I don't think being on different formulas means they are fraternal, either. Our boys are on different formulas - Jonathan is on the regular Enfamil, while we use the Gentlease with James because of his tummy issues. They work great!

Yes, they are on the same formula. My ds was the reflux/sensitive stomach one so we went by that and luckily dd seems to drink whatever is in the bottle and never had any problems. :)

We switched a bunch in the beginning, so at times they were on different formulas. They both ended up on soy formula, and now soy milk. No that doesn't mean that they are fraternal, even though, of course mine are.

For many months we had our fraternal dds on different formulas. With Arwen, it also took us 4 formulas until we found one that worked well with her reflux. Lorien we soon found responded best to Soy. A few months later, the Soy was making her constipated and we swited her back to regular enfamil and since Arwen's refluxe had finally gone, we had them both on the same formula. I would say they were finally on the same formula around 6 or 7 months. Sure made life a lot easier especially since they don't make the travel size of the RTF soy. Now all that is gone as of today cause we started WHOLE MILK YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!

Ours both drink Similac Neosure, but we did have to add gripe water at the beginning.

Both of mine were on Enfamil Enfacare until we switched to whole milk at 12 months and obviously mine are fraternal.
