do you use tap water for formula?

my pedi said tap water is just fine back at their 6mon appt. we still use nursery water, but is it really necessary?

 

I have always used tap water b/c my pedi told us to.

 

The only reason I don't use tap water is because I won't drink it myself. I just use sparkletts bottled water.

 

I always used nursery water right up through weaning them from the bottle and even giving them sippy's with it. But, that's just me

 

My pediatrician said that unless we had well water, that using unboiled tap water was fine.

Ditto-as long as we didn't have a well-tap water is fine! In the very beginning, we bought bottled water-but that got old quick! It's been tap water for us! And all is well over here!

 

We used bottled water for maybe a month if that...then we asked the ped and he said the tap water here was fine so have been using that ever since.

I use bottled but only because I find the water here nasty.

 

We use tap water too.

 

I've used tap water all along--I do use the stuff that comes through my refrigerator filter in the door; but I don't know if that's really much better.

We have always used warm tap water.

 

We have 'iffy' water where I live, so we used bottled. We never once used Nursery water, though...just the $40 gallons of generic bottled water from the grocery store! They always got tap water at daycare, where the water was better (different city), & that never bothered me either. I'd say go TAP if you have decent water!

(FYI, now that we no longer drink formula, the boys get the water out of the fridge at times or else they still get bottled water)

 

Just started using tap water-I love that I can make it the right temp with out using bottle warmer or microwave! So much easier!

Ditto. I have used it from day 1 without any issues.

 

We have always used tap water.

 

I used boilded tap water.

 

Our whole family uses tap water. When we used formula we just used tap water. Much more convenient and imo just fine.

 

We use Nursery Water. I won't drink outr tap water.... so I don't really want to give it to my babies. Nursery water has fluoride and I don't think other bottled water has it.

 

We use bottled water. We just bought the Walgreen's brand of britta water filters and start using it last week. We have yet to use it to make their bottles. I want to check with our ped at their next appt. which is in a few weeks.

 

We used tap water from day one, but I do know that we have great water quality here.

 

We use tap water...works fine for us.

 

We used a water filter with the girls but just used tap on the rare occasion when Dax got formula.

 

We had a well so we've always used nursery water and still do even though we've since moved.
