Do you think the %of di/di ID is wrong?

So isn't the % rate of ID being di/di like 20-30% or something? It seems like there are alot more than that. I dont know how to make a poll but someone should start one so we can see the true %. I think thats why so many of us moms with di/di ID twins think they are frat is because the odds are supposed to be that they are frat. hmmm, do you see what I'm saying? Just a thought.

 

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's not very accurate because people before thought di di meant fraternal and a lot of other people don't do DNA testing so they don't know. I'm guessing the number is much higher than that!!

 

My DH and I have thought this too! I wonder when people started DNA testing their kids? Probably why Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen think they are frats...parents just didn't have the opportunity to test or the money. It's pretty cheap now to have them tested.

 

I'm wondering the same thing as well. Someone should start a poll just so we can get a rough idea of the % on this board.

The technical percentage comes to about 10% of all twins are di di identicals. I think it's higher but no higher than 15%.
