Do you think my husband will notice?

I was going to paint my toenails, so Meghan decided she wanted "Pretty Piggies", too. As I was doing hers, Nolan kept asking if he could get "pretty piggies". I know my husband would kill me if I painted them pink or red, so I got out a bottle of clear nail polish and did Nolan's toes as well. Do you think my husband will notice it?? :nea:

I don't think he would notice. But if he does you can certainly point out that at least they aren't pink! (and so what if they were right?)

 

Nope! I did Blake's one time too in clear and DH never noticed!

 

that is funny, I bet he won't notice. the things we do to keep peace in the house.

 

I doubt he will ever notice. I was painting my fingernails the other night and Slaton decided he wanted his painted, too. So, instead of the pink I was painting mine, I tried to pick a more "manly" color like a tan. He wanted nothing to do with the tan...he wanted the pink. Blake kinda freaked for a minute, but then just laughed about it.

At my house there would have been a fit that it was not a color, the same color. This and it would really depend on how long it took DH to notice, even Fuchia. LOL gotta love him though

So funny that you mentioned this! the other day, I was doing my toes. Anthony (2 1/2 yo) insisted that I paint his too. He wanted pretty toes like mommy and grandma. I told him that because he was a boy, I could only paint ONE toe. I said that is how boys do it. They don't paint them all!! LOL!!! it worked. DH noticed, because it was bright pink, but he was ok with only one toe being done.

 

I'm on the flip side. I think he'll notice, because I think men notice things like that (polish on boys, even if it's clear) even if they don't say anything. My boys have never asked to have their fingers/toes painted, but one time they colored their fingernails with marker.....a green sharpie!!!

 

Mine would! He would then insist that it be taken off NOW!

Mine would not notice at all. And I think I would have done the same thing as you did!!!

 

My DH might notice when he was putting his shoes and sockes, but he wouldn't care. Though, he wasn't thrilled when he came home on Friday and found Gabe wandering around the house with a pink purse I bought two mini tote bags in the dollar section of Target and when I brought them home, Natalie immediately claimed the blue one, so Gabe took the pink. I think it's hilarious and but DH asked that we not let him take it out of the house

 

Okay, a weekend of being at the beach and the pool and he didn't notice. He even gave them their bath Saturday night and never noticed a thing......

It's funny, Meghan was showing off her pretty piggies all weekend, I was shocked Nolan didn't do the same.

I polish the girls toes every other week. Reggie decided to find the polish and paint his as well. He came showing me his newly painted red toenails and toes. I took it off. I told him boys do not polish their toes. I like to make sure the boys know the difference between things girls do and things boys do.
