Do you think I will deliver tomorrow

I was in the hospital over the weekend - I was 4 cm and 75% effaced and am at a stage 0. I was sent home on modified bedrest. Since I have been home I have had more contractions (they still have not been painful), but they have been longer. I just feel like things are happening - some sudden pains in the vagina area and some clear liquid every now and then. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. In your opinion do you think that if I am anymore dialated or anything tomorrow that she will send me to the hospital or just keep me on bedrest?

 

Hard to say. When I was dialating with a singleton I felt it, I knew it was happening. With the twins, I just felt pains but didn't think I was really contracting at all but I was 5cm and 50% effaced when I got to the hospital. I would say it sounds good though!!!

 

I hope for you that this is it. I can't stand the waiting and wondering myself. I will be praying for a safe and easy delivery with healthy babies for you! Lisa

Depends on your doc. At 34 weeks I was 80% effaced, 3 cm dilated and my doctor said no bedrest or anything, if I went into labor, I went into labor! He thought I would go within the next 2 weeks, and he was wrong!!! I ended up delivering at 37 weeks and 4 days.

 

Keep them cookin as long as possible

I was at 3 cm and 80% for like 5 weeks.. You never know what will happen! Keep the babies cookin' for awhile!

??? only time will tell!!! I would think that if you are more than 4 they would surely keep you but???? Good luck!!

 

Well - I went to the doctor today and I was still 4 cm but I am now 90% effaced. She said it could be any day now, but she still sent me home on modified bed rest. I know they need to cook longer, but I am so ready to meet them!

 

That is a little early. I know that you want them out. I sure know I did. I was praying that they would come. I was induced at 38 weeks, and realized that in all reality they could have used some more time. I knew that if they would have come any earlier at all it would have been bad for them. I never realized until I was there how bad coming early can be for the little babies. Just keep telling yourself that the longer they are in there the better for them. Its like a race, this is the last mile. That is the hardest, but its what gets you to the finish line You are doing great mama! How awesome that you have made it this far.

With that said, I thought I was in labor for weeks. It was such a tease. I went to the hospital a few times absolutely sure I was in labor. Contractions were painful and 3 minutes apart FOR THREE WEEKS. I thought for sure if I really did go into labor I wouldn't know the real deal! But it just never happened. Finally they induced me because they didn't want me to go any longer. I swear I would have made it to 40 weeks...you never know, hang in there, can't wait to see you in the first years.

 

I get those vagina pains a lot now. My OB said it was because the babies are breech and they keep kicking my cervix. I hope you can hang in there a few more weeks, they need to cook at least a couple more weeks. I am at the same point you are so I understand your feelings, stay strong, you are almost there.

I thought you were futrther along. I feel for you, but it is probably for the best if they can stay inside for a bit longer!
