Do you think I lost my plug?

This morning I had a lot of what looked like a clear mucus, almost like egg white but not as runny. I had quite a bit come out and then haven't had any more the rest of the day. I always thought that a mucus plug would either have more color to it or be pinkish or bloody. Do you think that I lost or am losing my plug or is it something else?

I lost my plug over the course of a couple weeks and there was no color. What you are describing seems exactly like what mine did.

 

I have had one of each with my first two babies. One streaked with "old" blood; one totally clear. I think the common thread was the consistency/thickness; neither time was it your ordinary discharge. It was thick and more "solid", does that make sense?

 

Thanks for your info ladies. I just talked to another friend of mine and she thinks it could be my plug too. This is going to sounds gross but it was a "snot" type consistancy. I'll ask my doc about it I guess. I have an appointment on Wed. Last Thursday I was dialated to a 2 with my cervix being 1 cm long, so I'm anxious to see if there are any more changes by then. Or I may be meeting my little boys before then. Who knows
