Do you still think in terms of milestone?

With the twins, the milestones were so important. 24w, 28w, 32w, etc. We were all hoping and crossing fingers to hit each milestone because they were all so very significant especially with an increased chance of complications or early labor.

I find that even now, I still think in terms of those milestones. 28 weeks today, and 32 right around the corner.

 

yes. right now my milestone is 21 weeks, thats when our twins were born. then it will be 24w, then probably 36w when my cerclage comes out. DH told me that hes willing to DTD after my cerclage is removed to speed up things....YEAH> thats my big goal - 36 w

 

I think you are more apt to think in terms of milestones if you haven't a complicated pregnancy or anything high risk (like with twins). I know I was so excited to hit 27 weeks with Olivia b/c that's when I went on bedrest with the twins...I was more excited to get past 34 weeks (that's when I delivered the twins) and then I made it to 38.5 weeks with her! It was great, but yeah, I definitely had "milestones

 

Yes! And I did the same thing with my last pg. I look so forward to getting to 34 weeks. For me, I need to hit 24wks, then 27, then 32, then at 34 I will breath a sigh of relief. I had my twins at 27 weeks after a month of bedrest. With my singleton no bedrest and she made it to her scheduled c-sectiond date, but I contracted from 19 weeks on. I am anticipating the same thing this time.

 

Sure do. I am thankfully having a very uneventful pregnancy but when we hit viability it was a milestone and now every week is. I don't expect anything to happen but after what I went through with the twins I now know how important every week is.

 

I also have been looking toward the milestones and must say that I feel more comfortable now that I am in my 24th week. I am hopeful things will continue to go well!
