Time is starting to fly!! i need a little help in what i need. Bailey will be 3 when the twins are born what is the best stoller? a double side by side or front and back but what about the 3 year old? i like the ones that hold a baby and have a spot for toddler to stand, anything like that for twins+toddler.
2 swings 2 high chairs? what do i really need 2 of?
oh ps i am starting from strach, we moved 3 times before we bought our home so i sold all of DD baby idea's!!!! i could kick myself for that...oh well thats what showers are for!!!

I would start with 2 bounchy seats for sure and 1 swing to start off with unless they both totally love them. We got by with 1 swing and 2 bouncys. We only had one jumperoo and 1 exersauser. 2 highchairs or boosters will be needed aswell.

Joovy does have a double sit and stand but I have not heard to many good things about it and Im not sure if it hold 2 infant carriers.

    Good Luck!

    This is what We had/have:

    2 cribs
    2 carseats (obviously)
2 highchairs ( I have the kind you strap onto regular chairs)
2 bouncy seats (could have gotten by with just one)
1 swing (like the bouncy seat I only needed 1)
For the stroller we only have the twins but I prefer the double tandem (front and back) I have a duoglider and love it. The side-by-side dont fit through narrow doorways and aisles very well.
2 boppy pillows (even if you are not breastfeeding they are great for laying the babies while bottle feeding and tummy time)
    2 walkers
    1 exersaucer
1 dresser ( I hang everything except socks, onesies, hats, and jammies)
    1 rocking chair
    1 changing table
2 "crib lulluby machines" (sorry I know thats not what they are called but I cant think of the name right now)
1 monitor (preferably one with an AC adapter and a battery backup)

Thats all I can think of for now. HTH

Oh also if you register for any toys, mobiles, "crib lulluby machines" sorry I cant think of what they are called. I would recommend that you register for two of the same one. I made the mistake and got 2 different crib "lulluby machines" and my DD always screams because she wants the one DS has but they aren't available in the stores anymore.

That is a really good list. I also started with one swing, and quickly went to 2 because they loved them, slept in them, and gave mommy and daddy some serious PEACE! We had 2 bouncy chairs and a kind of rocking chair bounce seat, it was nice to have all three different kinds because we could rotate the girls through all three and the different swings, and that pretty much took care of the day! I only had one boppy, and that was enough. If you nurse them for longer, you may want to invest in one of the larger tandem nursing pillows anyway. I have managed to avoid walkers and exersaucers. They won't need them until they are older (6 months+) and I prefer to have mine play on the floor. Don't forget that consignment stores, craig's list and garage sales are good places to get some of those things. I bought a swing half price from a neighbor and borrowed a swing from a friend whose baby did not like it. So I got 2 swings for $50.
I also got 2 free bumbo seats from people whose kids had outgrown them. I also have the two strap-on highchairs (actually, they are called feeding seats.) Mine are from The First Year, and they recline a bit so the girls don't have to be able to sit by themselves. Real high chairs take up a lot of space and are more expensive. Ours cost $28 each (new). I've seen a lot of high chairs on craig's list too. We have a glider-type rocking chair. I spent HOURS in that, even while I was still pregnant. It was fabulous to nurse them in, and I still feed them their last bottle in it. One of my favorite purchases. We have two dressers, but we just put a changing pad on top of one of them instead of a separate changing table. (But we live in a one story house. Maybe get a pad for a different room or floor if your house is big.) I love the duoglider too - we have been on 2 cross-country flights with that thing, and that is what I put into my car every day, kind of a pain, but can't beat the way the carseats snap in. I also have a side-by-side but have used it very little so far. Again, I think it would be better once they are older. Would a triplet stroller work for you? Maybe if you put in two carseats, and left the other seat open for your older child? Not sure if it would work. You'd probably have to go check it out at a specialty store. Or ask the triplet moms what they suggest, they may have seen something cool. Another possibility: Carry one baby in a baby bjorn, put one carseat in the stroller, and your other child in the stroller without the carseat. The sit and stand from One Step Ahead might work for that...Good luck! It is fun to have twins!

We had two of everything except jumperoo and exersaucer. Everything else was double and we used it all (swings, bouncies, boppies, Bumbos). A great way to keep all the little things organized: socks, headbands, shoes, etc. is to get a see through over the door shoe rack. I cannot even begin to tell how how convenient it is to see it all right in front of you.

    2 cribs
    1 changing table
    1 rocker
    2 swings
    2 bouncies
1 boppy (wish I had had two!!)
    1 Excersauser
    1 jumper
    1 Jogger stroller
    1 Snap N Go Stroller
2 infant car seats and 2 convertable car seats

Haven't got high chairs yet. Still waiting to see if I really will need them or not. I have two really nice booster seats and I think they might do!

Me too. I never needed two jumperoos or two exersaucers. Great suggestion on the shoe rack!

We registered at just BRU to make it easy for people and easier for us to remember what we registered for.

I've got two of just about everything, too.
One thing I don't think I saw on everyone's great lists was a Baby Bijorn. My boys LOVE them, so we have two of those, too. Daddy straps one kid in and I do the same!

Also, Babies R Us has a twins program, where if someone buys two of something (like two bouncer chairs), they get a 10% discount.

    Have fun registering!

baby depot has the discount where you save 20% on two items.

We had one swing (a friend gave us another one and i am glad)
    one bouncy
2 fisher price high chairs that strap to our chairs
    2 cribs
    one PnP
2 rain forest soothers in the cribs and then everything else was just one mainly.

We have b/g twins and honestly the swings are what we use the most. but we could have gotten by on one.

you can make one item work if you need to because two of everything is not needed in my opinion... i got a twin side by side stroller and opted to not get the snap and go. I did not want to spend the money for no longer than it was used. Plus i like being able to lay them in the stroller and i can pick them up easy if they need me instead of trying to take them out of the infant seats.
