Do you or have you had your twins in different daycare rooms?

Just curious about why and how it went. If we keep on the good potty training track with Lily, I have the option of moving her up to the cheaper preschool room (versus the toddler room they are in now). Actually, the director recommends it. How did your twins handle it? How did you handle it?

We split the kids up when they went to the 3 year old room at the old daycare (right before July) and they are split at the new preschool as well. It actually went quite well. My daughter tended to compensate and speak for her brother so now, he is more vocal because he has to be. It hasn't been bad on me. I pick them up in the evening and I just try to switch up picking one up first. We still have to pack double the stuff, it just goes to separate rooms instead of separate cubbies. Good luck!

We dont have the option. The daycare my kids go to only has one class room for each age group. The only way one of them would move up without the other, is if once they are 3, if one of them is not potty trained, they wont be able to go to the 3 yr old room. I dont think I would want them to be separated...not right now anyway, cuz my DD has separation anxiety bad. Maybe when their older.
