Do you leave your mobile babies unattended?

For those with mobile babies, do you ever leave them unattended? If so, for how long?

I leave mine for just a minute or two in a "baby-proofed" room (our living room or their nursery). I will go to the garage and check on the laundry or use the restroom. Do you think that's okay? I've thought about getting a Superyard, but we really don't have the space.

Mine are gated in the babyproofed living room and I will leave them to check email, start cooking, go to basement for laundry, ect. It is never more than 5 mins and they do fine:)

Only long enough to run to the bathroom. They are in a baby proofed, gated room, but the always manage to get into mischief. Plus I have a 2-year-old who can't be trusted for long with them. Play often turns too rough for my liking.

I think it's fine. If they are in a baby proofed area, sometimes you have to get things done, kwim?

In my babyproofed completely gated living room, yep. I love our open floor plan house, but that means I have gates everywhere to keep them contained! Never for too long, I have a 3 yr old that can get a little rough too, but I do leave them when I need to pee or do laundry/dishes or run outside to the freezer.

I rarely left mine completely unattended. Even in my babyproofed rooms, they seemed to always find things to get into.

I would leave mine in our living room, which was baby proofed and gated to go to the bathroom and check on laundry...that's about the longest time I felt comfortable leaving them alone. It would be no longer then 3-4 minutes.

I left them for a few seconds. Usually just to go to the bathroom. I have the entire 1st floor baby proofed so they usually just went with me where ever I went. It's a really open floor plan and was thankfully easy to babyproof!

We have the baby proofed and gated off living room as well and I'll leave them in there to go to the bathroom real quick, grab clothes, run down and get the laundry. I always go as fast as I can but they've always done just fine.

I have limited time when I can leave them alone because of my three year old who can be pretty rough with them. If I do have to leave the room to do something I usually put them in their jumperoos so that I know they can't go anywhere and their big brother can't really hurt them in there. I think it is fine to do but make sure they are good and safe. I have had my fair share of my boys getting into to much trouble even in baby proofed rooms.
