I just had to say :clapping: :bow2: to all you ladies!!!!!!! It is such a truly amazing, selfless thing you are doing for your babies. It is a gift to them that no one else can provide. Love, security, closeness and nutrition all at once

When you have a hard day with bfing/pumping trust me that when you look back you will be sooooooooo proud of yourself!!!! And how awesome is it that we can come here and vent and have other women who have BTDT to provide the exact support we are looking for :friends:

    So WTG momma's!!

I know I am incredibly proud that I BF'd the girls for almost a year (11 1/2 months). My mom and MIL still brag about it to everybody that talks about the twins. It's kind of embarassing, but it makes me feel really good, too.

I have only been breastfeeding for three months but I am so happy that I am doing it. When I was in the hospital one of my nurses said she only saw one other twin mom successfully nurse her twins. From that moment on I was determined to nurse my two. I love the bond that we are creating!!

Thank you, ladies, for all of the encouragement and support! I most likely would've given up about a month ago!

I think it makes it easier knowing that we have options - pumping, formula, help from La Leche, LC or great forums like these. My great grandma had twins, they were born full term but weighed 3.5. and 4. lbs. Imagine the stress mothers would have felt 82 years ago with low birth weight babies and BF the only option!

I am so happy to be able to breastfeed my guys. I treasure each feeding and look forward to the next. I do believe that I am giving them the very best start in life.

Thanks for the reminder! I've decided to pump and not nurse because of convenience for the summer. But I'm so glad to be able to provide for the twins like I did with DD. I actually talked to the pedi's nurse today about some issues with Samantha and she said SEVERAL times to me how great of a job I was doing giving the twins only BM. She really made me feel great about the job I am doing pumping.

    Way to go girls!

I want to say how awesome you all are too!!! I just realized that we have been nursing for 22 months! We are starting to wean though, so every session is bittersweet since I know I only have a handful left....
