Do you have any silly worries?

Not medical worries but silly things. My biggest worry right now is that when the boys arrive, they will be similar enough in appearance that I won't be able to tell who is who.

I also worry that when I am changing diapers, I put the wrong pants back on the wrong kid (that is more my OCD than a worry).

Does anyone else have these thoughts or am I the only loony?

You'll definitely put the wrong pants on the wrong kid at some point. And you won't even care! ;)

I worried I wouldn't be able to tell them apart, either. But I've always been able to. I also worried that we'd leave them with my parents or my DH's parents and they would accidentally switch them and then we wouldn't know it and we'd be calling them the wrong name for the rest of their lives! Never happened, though.

Holy Cow, I hadn't even thought of all the mess ups my in-laws could do. LOL

I just wanted to say this thread actually made me laugh out loud. I am having b/g twins, so it is not an issue for me, but my sisters are identical twins. We never got them mixed up, even though everyone says they still look exactly alike at 24, our family could always tell them apart.

MarchI, no worries, you'll do fine. I was a stay at home Dad with my twins. My Mother had to teach me how to change diapers in the hospital. I was worried sick. These were our first, that and them being twins and I was the the one staying home. I learned alot and while it was hard, looking back on it I truly loved it. All I can say I envy you and the adventure your going to have with your twins. Thanks for your time, Michael.

Cute. My sister has identicals and we can all tell them apart, even though they look EXACTLY alike.

i worry if i will be able to handle it all. the stress, the crying. Will i be a good mom?
I have dreams of me dropping the babies, accidentally hurting the babies, losing my mind with feeling stressed and overwelmed....etc...many many silly worries. even though everyone that knows me and sees me with kids since i have worked with foster kids for years says I would never lose it and will be a great mom-i worry about what kind of mom i will be.
